How it works
It is like speed dating only we provide you with something much better…babysitters!
Lets just take a breath (we know you are excited) and go over a few things. Lullaby League is not a nanny or placement service. We are a babysitting meeting service allowing parents to meet and interview sitter candidates (typically university students) for babysitting jobs in Metro Vancouver and Calgary.
At each mixer moms (and dads) will have 3 to 4 minute “mini interviews” with each of the sitter candidates. Parents and sitters can chat, ask questions and get a feel for each other…it is one on one time and no better way to get to know someone. After the mixer ends parents call as many of the sitters they liked directly (we hope you love them all) and work out the rest between you.
The night of the mixer, you will also receive your own copy of The Lullaby List. This valuable book is made up of each of the evenings babysitters resumes that they have submitted. This will help you see their experience with kids, allow you to call references and give you all of their contact information. The Lullaby List is invaluable as it gives you a listing of the babysitters that you can then contact directly…and since you have just met them, you know who you are calling!
